By road - the grand touring experience
Pick your route
from
Calais,
Dunkirque,
Boulogne,
Le Harve,
Dieppe,
Caen
or Roscoff
and make the journey southwards.
Alternatively, you
could take the ferry to
Bilbao
or
Santander
and head
east to Phoenix Barn, taking about 3 - 4 hours respectively.
We have
ample parking at Phoenix
Barn, including
secure parking for bikes.
By air - the quickest option
Pau
Airport
is a 40 minute
transfer (Ryanair from Stansted or Bristol).
Tarbes/Lourdes Airport is just a 20 minute transfer (Ryanair from Stansted)
Toulouse
Airport
is about a
1½ hour transfer, but offers many more options for departure (Easyjet,
Flybe, etc from
Birmingham,
Bristol,
Gatwick, Stansted, etc).
Biarritz
Airport
is approx
1½ hour away and offers flights from
Ireland
(Ryanair).

With all air travel, we recommend that you rent a vehicle to make the most of your
stay here in the stunning
Pyrenees.
